a little about me…

the lemon lime cane is one of the few dracaena species to be cultivated as a housplant.  easy going and shown to be above averag purifying the air!

**with dracaena, be on the lookout for a common issue called ‘tipping.’ this happens when the tips of the leaves dry out and turn brown. this can be caused by a variety of issues, most commonly overwatering or fertilizer burn. most of the time, the cause of tipping is actually the water you’re using! salts, chlorine, fluoride, and other elements that found in tap water can be harmful if they build up in the soil. if you do not have a filtration system, leaving the tap water in an open container (like a cup or a watering can) overnight will help remove some of the chlorine or fluoride!

prefers bright, indirect light, but can survive in lower lighted rooms as well.

w a t e r

water your dracaena thoroughly, and then wait until the top 50-75% of the soil is dry. overwatering your plant will cause root rot which will kill your plant.

the foliage is toxic to pets and humans, so be sure to keep it out of reach!
