zamioculcas zamiifolia (zz super nova)

a little about me…

the zz is perfect for any level plant-parent! it’s glossy leaves are stylish, and the plant itself is one of the hardiest there out there!  originally from eastern and southern africa, the zz has adapted to store water for long droughts.  

the super nova is a dark beauty, but not quite as dark as the raven.  she maintains some green flecks on the leaves!  however, just like the raven, new growth is bright green and will fade to a dark color.

this plant will grow best with any lighting as long as it’s kept out of direct sunlight, which will scorch its leaves.  she'll grow quicker in bright light!

w a t e r 

water infrequently. this plant’s succulent leaves store water which make it drought tolerant. water thoroughly once every month or so. most problems stemming from zz plants come from overwatering.

t o x i c i t y 

this plant is toxic, so keep out of reach of pets and children.
