african violets are a stunning addition to any plant collection. they get a bad rep, but with a little care, they can be easily grown! water on the leaves will cause brown spots, so you’ll need to take care to not let any get on the leaves. they bloom regularly, keep up with dead heading to help promote flower growth

african violets love bright, indirect light. the leaves will turn light green if they’re getting too much sun and they’ll get leggy if they get too little

they love to be moist, but not wet. bottom water or water the soil directly. they need a well draining soil to stop root rot

h u m i d i t y

they love humidity! just be sure to not let any water collect on the leaves
