epipremnum aureum (pothos jade)

a little about me…

the pothos is a classic!  it comes from tropical forests in china, australia, and the western pacific islands and is a great beginner plant.  there are so many different varieties, they're also great for the seasoned plant collector.

this plant can survive in medium-lower light rooms, but will thrive and produce more leaves in bright, indirect sunlight. direct sunlight will burn the foliage. nicknamed the “office plant” because it does so well in low light situations. 

w a t e r

water when the top 2” of soil is dry (about to your second knuckle). Yellowing leaves may signal overwatering, while brown leaves signal underwatering. the leaves will start to droop if in desperate need of water, but they will perk back up within a day or 2 of watering.

This plant is mildly toxic to pets and humans.
